Wildtrack Safaris Eco Lodge borders the Hwange National Park and is situated near the village of Pandamatenga and the Kazuma National Park. Botswana’s beautiful Chobe region is only an hour from the lodge, making it an amazing experience to explore the Chobe National Park and River. The safari component of your trip is second to none, exploring the unique and awesome African wildlife of the famous Chobe National Park. You will not be dissappointed by this wonderful experience. The lodge lives up to its name; it is our aim to minimise our impact on the environment. The entire lodge is solar-powered; all hot water is supplied by solar geysers, waste is recycled and effluent treated and returned to the environment safe and clean. Wildtrack Safaris Eco Lodge is a private and exclusive lodge comprising of eleven thatched luxury suites - one of which is both wheelchair friendly and family oriented. Each suite is uniquely styled and themed to reflect Africa's rich and diverse cultures, with extra-length King size beds appointed in crisp, white linen. The en-suite bathrooms with natural stone baths open out to private outdoor rain showers with panoramic views, allowing guests to experience the true spirit of Africa. Take time to relax on the lush tree-filled lawns, or cool off in our sparkling swimming pool - while sipping on a sundowner as the sun sets ablaze with colours. After a sumptuous, gourmet dinner, unwind at the boma overlooking a lit waterhole – or simply lie back whilst taking in the splendour of the Milky Way’s stars, as the exhilarating sounds of the African bush comes alive.
We'll collect you from your hotel in Livingstone and transport you on the stunning one hour drive to Kazungula. We'll cross over the Zambezi River to our waiting vehicles. Here you'll be transferred to your stunning 3 hour boat safari on the Chobe River. Lunch is provided on a floating river restaurant and later afternoon, you will get the chance to watch elephants, water buffalo, crocodiles, hippos and a miriad of other bird and wildlife. We then transfer to the Wildtracks Safari Ecolodge. A truly stunning conclusion to a wonderful day.
After a great sleep in your luxury chalet, we'll take you for a game drive in the heart of the National Park. With the largest population of elephants in the world, plus a vast array of fascinating wildlife such as zebra, giraffe, buffalo, hyena and lion. You will return to the lodge for lunch and again in the evening have the chance to take a sundowner safari out into the park or simply relax at the lodge.
You'll be up and away early morning after a stunning breakfast at the lodge. We will then transfer you back to the Kazungula Border and onward to Livingstone.
Pick Up Point & Times
We will collect you at 8am on Day One of your trip and you will be back by 12 midday on Day three of your trip.
What You Need To Bring With You
Most people have in their possession what is needed for this trip. In particular we recommend the following:
- Lightweight trousers (neutral colours)
- Long sleeved shirt or blouse (neutral colours)
- Medication you are on
- Personal toiletries
- Spare underwear
- Other clothing required
- Passport and re-entry visa into Zambia

Below are dates and prices for your trip. We run with a minimum of 2 guests and transfers are provided to and from Livingstone to Kazungula, and to your lodge from there. We also recommend that you hold a double entry visa (at a cost of $80) if you are planning this as part of your holiday.
