Luxury Afternoon Rafting Trip
We realise it hard be hard to fit in all those adventures you would like to on your holiday, so perhaps consider our luxury afternoon rafting trip on the Zambezi. We'll collect you from your hotel, fly you into the river where there will be a wonderful lunch waiting for you. Let your team of guides inspire you with confidence and run you through the afternoons array of world class rapids, including The Mother and Oblivion. On conclusion of your trip, you'll glide out of the gorge by gondola where you can sit and have an ice cold drink before we transport you back to town. So whether your morning includes an elephant ride, microlight flight or just a lie in, this trip is perfect for you.
Your Afternoon Whitewater Rafting
We'll collect you at 11.30 from your hotel. You will then take a scenic helicopter flight over Victoria Falls and swoop into the gorge where you have a sumptuous lunch waiting for you. Here your world class guide team will give yu all a comprehensive safety talk and paddle instructions in preparation for your trip down river. We take a safety kayak or safety cataraft on every trip for added security, but we expect you not to swim on your afternoon on the Zambezi River. Conquer rapids such as The Mother, Double Trouble and Oblivion before we reach rapid 25 and we'll transport you swiftly out of the Batoka Gorge by gondola. Enjoy chilled beers and wine with snacks at the top of the gorge. We'll drive you back to your hotel in time for dinner.
Pick Up Point & Time
Let us know where you are staying in Livingstone and we'll collect you between 11.00 and 11.30 at your hotel*. When you book, we'll let you know your approximate collection time. At the conclusion of your rafting trip, we'll have you back at your hotel in time for dinner!*(Note collection at some hotels is not possible at this time, but your hotel will run you into Livingstone to join us)
What You Need To Bring With You
We suggest the following for your trip.
- Water bottle
- Swimsuit and or shorts
- Chums to secure glasses
- T shirt or long sleeved shirt for sun protection
- Thermal top for trips in August and from November - January
- Sunscreen and lipbalm (guides will have drybag for this)
- Sturdy shoes or sandals. We suggest Chaco or Keen

The Small Print
Minimum Age: 15 years
Maximum Age: None... go for it! Our oldest client was 73 year old Barbara!
Photos & Video: This can generally be purchased after your trip.
All guides are fully certified and trained in river running, first aid and swiftwater recue.
A satelite Phone, comprehensive first aid kit and stretcher are carried on all trips
We strongly recommend Travel Insurance from your home country in the unlikely even you are injured and need to return home.
All clients will be required to sign and indemnity form before they can go on the river.
